This vacation home is literally on the beach - a notable feature of Moclips that you'll be hard-pressed to find elsewhere on the Washington coast. Watch the sunset over the beach, take in the fresh ocean air, and enjoy the sound of waves crashing on the Pacific Ocean from the ocean view deck. This lot is not just oceanfront, but also private to the north as well as it is the most northerly lot on the beach. The view to Point Grenville and to the south is truly breathe taking.

This house is named after one of the great men in Moclips history, Dr. Edward Lycan. Moclips was a health and vacation resort 120 years ago, receiving up to 5000 visitors each weekend from Seattle. Dr. Lycan had a vision for the town and built, in 1905, a 270 room magnificent beachfront hotel. Due to the strong tides and storms that Moclips receives, the hotel was destroyed during such a storm in 1911 and never rebuilt. Lycan house today is built on the site of the northern wing of the original Moclips Hotel. The grandfathered zoning that allows houses to be built so close to the sea is a tribute to those that built in the past, but today, being so close to the sea, we build up on stilts to guard against such storms.

Lycan House has four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The upstairs master with a king bed has great ocean views. The second bedroom upstairs features a queen bed plus two bunks. Downstairs there is a lower level master bedroom and the second bedroom has two sets of bunks, sleeping four. The house can comfortably sleep, two families. There are four TV's in the house and WiFi as well.

Terms: Additional charge of $299 cleaning Fee and all applicable Taxes (11.9%).
A non-refundable down payment of $750 is due at the time of reservation except peak season which rises to $1000.
Full and final payment due 45 days prior to arrival.
All payments non-refundable.
Check-in is at 4:00 pm until 6:00pm and Check-out is at 11:00 am.
Note: Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
No smoking, vaping or pets are allowed.
A security deposit of $500 paid via Venmo, Zelle or cash required before or at check-in.
No renters under 25.

From I-5 South
Take exit 104 onto US-101 North toward Aberdeen/Port Angeles
As you follow signs to Aberdeen, US-101 will turn into WA-8 West
WA-8 will change to US-12 West
Once in Aberdeen follow signs to US-101 North, Hoquiam and Ocean Beaches
Stay in the left lane and cross the Hoquiam bridge
Travel on Hwy 101 North for 3 miles
Turn left on Ocean Beach Road to WA-109
Turn right on WA-109 for 3 miles
Turn left on 2nd Avenue towards the Moclips Beach
Turn right on Pacific Avenue
